WASHINGTON - Congressman Lance Gooden (R-TX) issued the following statement after the House Judiciary Committee voted to advance a bipartisan series of antitrust bills, including Rep. Gooden’s H.R. 3825, the Ending Platform Monopolies Act, all of which are aimed at reining in Big Tech monopolies.

Congressman Gooden: "Americans are fed up with Big Tech controlling every aspect of our lives. It’s past time for Congress to rein in digital monopolies. I applaud the Judiciary Committee for their rigorous debate and advancing this important legislation."

The package of five bills is capped off by the Ending Platform Monopolies Act, which Congressman Gooden introduced earlier this month.
