WASHINGTON – On Thursday, Congressman Lance Gooden (R-Texas) voted against legislation to fund the government through February 2022 because of Democrat’s refusal to defund vaccine mandates.
Rep. Lance Gooden said, "Considering the federal court system’s reaction to Biden's vaccine mandate, it would be irresponsible to include funding for the enforcement of these unconstitutional actions in any legislation to fund the government. I cannot support a bill that prioritizes billions for illegal immigrants and vaccine mandates but fails to adequately secure our southern border."
