WASHINGTON - On Wednesday, the House of Representatives passed a series of bills that would severely limit Americans’ Constitutional right to bear arms. Congressman Gooden voted against these provisions and released the following statement:
Rep. Gooden said, “We must act now to secure our schools and address the mental health crisis gripping the United States, but I will not support legislation that opens the door to nationwide gun grabs or unconstitutional restrictions on gun ownership.”
