WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Lance Gooden (R-TX) expressed strong support for the letter White House Counsel Pat Cipollone sent to Democratic leaders on Tuesday. In the letter, Cipollone explains The White House does not intend to cooperate with the illegitimate inquiry led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Congressman Gooden has spent the past weeks emphasizing the lack of any legal basis for impeachment. He has called for a complete halt of impeachment proceedings until authorized by a vote in the House of Representatives.
