As we gather with friends and family this weekend to celebrate the blessings of Easter and Passover, we are reminded of God’s grace and love through the great sacrifice He made for each of us.
Please join me in praying for the members of our community who are celebrating away from home this Easter, especially the brave military men and women fighting for our many freedoms. May God protect them in their service and bring them home safely. This weekend, also pray for the continued strength of the Ukrainian people and the state of our own Union.
We are blessed to enjoy countless freedoms living in the United States of America, including religious freedom. But as we celebrate this weekend, we acknowledge the recent increase in attacks on Christian values throughout our great nation. I will do everything in my power to keep the current administration and other government interference out of your faith or religious practices.

GOODEN PUSHES BACK AGAINST SEX EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Liberals continue to implement radical gender identity and sex education curriculum in our elementary schools. Parents have a right to be concerned by these schoolteachers and administrators who blatantly disregard the innocence of our children. To prevent the Biden Administration from harming young students, I introduced the Protecting Innocence in Education Act to prohibit the federal government from forcing sex education curriculum in elementary schools or punishing any school that refuse to implement these radical gender identity demands.

BIDEN’S IMMIGRATION POLICIES ARE AN INVASION OF THE U.S.
This week, Governor Greg Abbott followed through on his promise to bus illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C. Unlawful crossings at our southern border have soared since President Biden took office, and it will only get worse with the end of Title 42. The immigration policies of this administration are reprehensible and nothing short of a purposeful invasion of our country. I urge Governor Abbott to go even further by declaring an invasion at the border to limit the flow of unlawful migration. If our commander-in-chief and “border czar” Kamala Harris refuse to take action, Texas will.
