On Wednesday, President Biden delivered a disturbing political speech at Union Station attacking “MAGA Republicans” and labeling conservatives as enemies of our democracy. This speech was just another sad attempt by this administration to distract the American people from the real issues our nation is facing.
We are in the midst of the worst inflation crisis in four decades, nearly 3 million migrants have illegally crossed our southern border this year alone, and cities across the country continue to see violent crime rates soar. Instead of working to address these issues, President Biden and liberals in Congress have spent the last two years blaming everyone but themselves while they push policies that will only make things worse.
The Left killed American energy independence by canceling the Keystone Pipeline and preventing new oil and gas leases. Their reckless spending has sent prices at the store through the roof, and they continue to put criminals before our brave law enforcement officers.

THE FBI IS BROKEN
On Friday, House Republicans released a new report detailing whistleblower information on FBI misconduct and political influence at the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. This report underlines that the problem with these agencies is not with the front-line agents who serve our country but with the FBI and DOJ’s radical left-wing bureaucracy that has weaponized the agencies to go after conservatives. This includes artificially inflating the threat of domestic terrorism and extremism to help fit the White House message and purging employees with conservative views. I will continue fighting alongside my Republican colleagues to hold these corrupt agencies accountable.

CONFIRMED: COVID LOCKDOWNS HAD DEVASTING IMPACT ON EDUCATION
The nation’s report card released last Monday is a national disgrace. Just 31 percent of eighth graders in the U.S. are proficient readers, while another 30 percent are nearly illiterate. The Left’s fearmongering and COVID lockdowns have erased decades of progress in the United States education system and have put an entire generation of Americans at a disadvantage to “protect” them from a virus that posed no significant risk to their health. While Republicans condemned the mass hysteria and overreaction, liberals in Congress enabled this disaster. It’s time to hold the liberal politicians and teachers’ unions who’ve harmed our children accountable.
